I visited The Ivory Room, as well as a couple of other boutiques, whilst shopping for my wedding dress. The experience at this beautiful boutique and the service from Victoria stood out and was fantastic.
When I first visited to try on dresses with my mum, mother in law and best friend we were all made to feel very special. The experience of having the place to yourselves and not feeling rushed or pressured in any way is superb. I found my beautiful dress and the special memories of that day still make me smile lots. The card I received from Victoria after choosing my dress was an unexpected and really lovely surprise, a special little touch that meant a lot.
On every other visit for fittings we were still made to feel special and looked after by Victoria and Bernie. I loved every visit.

Lovely relaxing experience and beautiful shop. Nothing is too much trouble. Wonderful selection of gowns to choose from. Warm and friendly atmosphere. Dress sizes allowed good fitting, many shops have smaller sizes that don’t fit properly so you can’t get a realistic picture of what a dress will actually look like before buying, this is not the case here, real attention is paid to making the dress fit well on your body, even if in the incorrect size, you can really understand what the dress will look like. I was dreading trying on dresses but Victoria made me feel totally comfortable and special. Lovely personal service, door is locked so we were the only people in the shop. She makes all the dresses fit you, so you can try a range of styles and get an idea of how they will look, which is great compared to some other bridal shops who give you no help trying them on. I said yes to my dress here and Victoria was part of the reason why! We went initially to try some on and weren’t pushed but encouraged to look at other places. When I went back to try what I thought my favourite was, she persuaded me to try on another style that I hadn’t even looked at and it turned out that this then became THE dress.
